RBBI Statement of Faith |
RBBI is an independent, fundamental, soul-winning, separated, Baptist Bible Institute that is not tongues speaking, charismatic or Pentecostal. RBBI is dedicated to exalting our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. RBBI believes that the King James Version is the Word of God in the English language. RBBI believes that the Scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. RBBI believes the King James Bible is the inspired Word of God. RBBI believes that this divine inspiration extends equally to each word. RBBI believes that there is one, and only one, living and true God existing as three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. RBBI believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, eternal and equal with the Father, born of the virgin Mary, and that He is both true God and true man. RBBI believes that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a voluntary and substitutionary sacrifice. RBBI will stress the importance of preaching. (1 Cor 1:18 KJV) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. RBBI believes that all sexual relationships must pattern themselves after a faithful heterosexual relationship within marriage. RBBI believes that salvation is entirely of God, by grace, through personal faith in the blood of Christ, wholly apart from any human merit or works. RBBI believes that the local church is a congregation of saved and baptized by immersion believers. RBBI believes in the imminent coming of Jesus Christ for His church prior to the Tribulation Period at which time all church saints will be raised, glorified and rewarded. RBBI believes that after the Tribulation Period that Christ will set up His Millennial Reign. |
