We are establishing boundaries and standards to protect your testimony and the testimony of RBBI. Boundaries help us to develop into what Christ would have us to be. The boundaries of RBBI should ultimately assist you in developing your own standards and Christ-like convictions. Without a strong personal foundation and the ability to say "NO", there's little chance that you will be able to access, develop and fully enjoy the gifts and talents that Christ has given you in fulfilling the plan that He has for your life. Being a Christian requires dedication and a deep commitment to the truth and a high ethical standard. When the Biblical faith speaks of ethics, it is always in terms of “putting off” or “putting on”. To live the Christian life means to put one way of life away in order that the other way can be put on.
*A donation of $20 per 1 credit hour per semester to the RBBI Institute is needed to keep the program operational.
*There are certain types of employment that are discouraged. (Working in bars, clubs etc.)
*Any delegation, directive, or request that is made by staff needs to be obeyed immediately.
*Students will be encouraged to complete a personal daily devotion schedule.
*Cleanliness and personal care of hair and clothing are essential for a good testimony. Hairstyles for men should be distinctly masculine, short, and neat. The following minimal dress standards are encouraged for male students-Dress slacks, dress shoes, a belt, collared shirt with necktie for church services. Female students are encouraged to dress modestly including the wearing of a skirt or dress. Clothing with inappropriate advertising, pictures and/or slogans that are contrary to the mission of RBBI are not to be worn. No earrings should be worn by men.
*Students and their family are encouraged to abstain from social dancing, gambling, attending movie theaters, sexual immorality, and unwholesome media material.
*Churches today are in desperate need of trained Christian workers that can help their church and Pastor in carrying out the Great Commission. This can only be accomplished through a living example of faithful, loyal, and humble service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Paisley and Riverview Baptist Church desire students to enroll and complete requirements for graduation.
