Bachelor of Christian Elementary Education Degree

Riverview Baptist Bible Institute offers a Bachelor of Christian Elementary Education Degree.  This degree program is intended to be a blessing to Riverview Baptist Church and Riverview Baptist Christian Schools as well as provide for a pool of local Christian school teachers and potential Elementary Christian teachers for Independent Baptist Churches in America who are seeking qualified teachers.  This degree program for training teachers is practical and gives immediate hands-on experience.  Our students will be in the classroom with children on their first day of school.  In the Bible Colleges and Institutes that have been examined in detail regarding their Elementary Education degree programs, the majority of courses that are taken are general Bible and Christian living related courses similar to the courses now offered at RBBI.  Our Institute will not be different from that model in the sense that each year the students enrolled in Elementary Education will be participating in the courses offered at Riverview Baptist Bible Institute on Monday and Tuesday evenings and on Saturdays.  These general Bible and Christian living requirements courses will be available on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m..  All students enrolling for credit into our Bachelor Degree in the Elementary Education area must have a minimum of a High School Senior status to be eligible for enrollment.  Any Senior before their graduation from Riverview Baptist Christian Schools must receive prior approval from the administration of our Christian School to enroll.  If doing any field experience for credit, home school, public school, and Christian school seniors will need approval from those in administration of Riverview Baptist Christian Schools.  Those enrolling in our Bachelor of Christian Elementary Education Degree Programs must have a High School or GED diploma to receive a degree from RBBI.  RBBI will offer you a quality education with a Bachelors Degree in four years with more classroom experience than most Baptist Colleges.  An appropriate balance between academic, spiritual, and teaching-related courses combined with the example and influence of the Riverview Baptist Church offers the student the best possible education.  We desire students to enroll and complete requirements for graduation.  A candidate qualifying for our Bachelor of Christian Elementary Education Degree must complete a minimum of 128 credit hours of course work for graduation.  A grade of  “C-” or higher must be obtained in each of the courses offered or the course will need to be retaken or have another course substituted.  RBBI does accept transfers from some Bible colleges.  The number of credits that would be transferred will be examined on an individual basis. This Degree is not available to students who are only online students.

Bachelor of Korean Missions Degree

Riverview Baptist Bible Institute offers a Bachelor of Korean Missions Degree.  This degree program is intended to be a blessing to our Riverview Baptist Korean Church and Riverview Baptist Church and its Mission Outreach.  Our church supports over 425 Missionaries scattered throughout the world.  It is only reasonable that as an extension of this missionary effort that we train Missionaries.  This degree program for training missionaries for Korea and for Korean ministries in America is practical and gives immediate hands-on experience.  In the Bible Colleges and Institutes that train missionaries, the majority of courses that are taken are general Bible and Christian living related courses similar to the courses now offered at RBBI.  Our Institute will not be different from that model in the sense that each year the students enrolled in Korean Missions will be participating in the courses offered at Riverview Baptist Bible Institute on Monday and Tuesday evenings and on Saturdays.  These general Bible and Christian living requirements courses will be available on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m..  Our students will gain the confidence to begin to learn and speak Korean and master basic conversational skills, including greetings and introductions, simple questions and answers.  Our students will build a foundation of fundamental vocabulary and essential language structure.  Students will be expected to attend the regular Sunday and Wednesday church services of our Riverview Baptist Korean Church.  Duties will be assigned by Pastor Kim on a regular basis with supervision.  RBBI will offer you a quality education with a Bachelors Degree in four years with more Korean Ministry experience than most Baptist Colleges.  An appropriate balance between academic, spiritual, and teaching-related courses combined with the example and influence of the Riverview Baptist Church offers the student the best possible education.  We desire students to enroll and complete requirements for graduation.  A candidate qualifying for our Bachelor of Korean Missions Degree must complete a minimum of 128 credit hours of course work for graduation.  A grade of  “C-” or higher must be obtained in each of the courses offered or the course will need to be retaken or have another course substituted.  RBBI does accept transfers from some Bible colleges.  The number of credits that would be transferred will be examined on an individual basis. Bachelor of Ministry Degree

Riverview Baptist Bible Institute offers a Bachelor of Ministry Degree. After completing our Associate Degree of Ministry some of our students desired further education and a Bachelor Degree.  We are always adding new courses to our Associate Degree.  When our Associate Degree students have graduated, they will continue to take courses.  These additional credits are then applied to the Bachelor of Ministry Degree.  Bible believing Churches today are in desperate need of trained Christian workers that can help their church and Pastor in carrying out the Great Commission.  The desire at RBBI is to prepare leaders for the work of Christ.  Many of our students feel God has called them to preach and who are considering pastoring a church.  An appropriate balance between academic, spiritual, and ministry-related courses combined with the example and influence of the Riverview Baptist Church offers the student the best possible education.  We desire students to enroll and complete requirements for graduation.  A candidate qualifying for our Bachelor of Ministry Degree must complete a minimum of 128 credit hours of course work for graduation.  A grade of  “C-” or higher must be obtained in each of the courses offered or the course will need to be retaken or have another course substituted.  For those students in our Campus Institute, up to 50 credits can be transferred to the Riverview Baptist Bible Institute from other Baptist colleges for this Degree.  For our Online students, up to 40 credits can be transferred to the Riverview Baptist Bible Institute from other Baptist colleges for this Degree.  Not all credits from other colleges will be automatically accepted.  Dr. Robson will go over your transcripts and will be the final authority on which credits will be accepted at RBBI.  Students transferring into our Institute and wishing credit for previously acquired courses must submit a copy of their transcripts for review.
